Tokiwa Forest at Tokiwadai campus of Yokohama National University was certified as a Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Nature Site (OECM) by Ministry of the Environment in early 2024 FY. So, Biosphere unit at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences (Laboratory of Biocultural Diversity headed by Prof. Kaoruko Kurata) helds exhibition titled ‘Consider “Now and Future” of YNU Forest’ ー Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Site “YNU Tokiwa Forest” and the problem of alien species such as Hormosan Squirrel at Information Lounge of YNU Library on Oct 14-31, 2024.
